Start/Stop System Disable
Start/Stop shuts the engine off automatically at a standstill. To avoid pressing the button every ignition cycle, the system can be disabled by default through software.
What changes?
The default state after ignition is changed; other parts of the function (battery management, warnings) are kept as the vehicle requires. On some vehicles the system is set to a remembered button state instead of being fully disabled.
Why choose it?
It is requested for comfort, frequent restarts and battery-related concerns. The service requires no mechanical change.
How does it work?
- Select your vehicle and ECU, upload the original file.
- Our engineers prepare the file; it passes two-stage quality control.
- Download the file from your panel and request a revision if needed.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it affect fuel consumption?
- With Start/Stop off the engine keeps running at stops, so consumption in stop-and-go traffic may rise.
- Can it be reverted?
- Yes; the original file can be written back if you keep it.
