Pop & Bang (Exhaust Crackle) Remap
Pop & Bang creates the characteristic exhaust crackle on throttle lift-off by sending a controlled amount of fuel into the exhaust. It is done entirely through the maps.
How does it work?
During deceleration, ignition timing and fuel-cut behaviour are changed so part of the combustion shifts into the exhaust. Intensity and RPM range can be adjusted; mention your preferred character in the order notes.
Things to consider
Aggressive settings can damage the exhaust, catalyst or GPF through heat. Files are therefore limited to mild and sharp levels, and we ask whether the vehicle has a catalyst. Exhaust-noise and emissions rules differ by country; legal compliance is the vehicle owner’s responsibility.

- Can it be done on diesels?
- No; the effect is meaningful on petrol engines.
