DTC Delete (Fault Code Disable)
DTC deletion disables the ECU from logging a specific fault code or lighting the warning lamp. It does not fix the fault itself; it only changes how the ECU evaluates the code.
When does it make sense?
It is used on modified and race vehicles where a code is no longer a valid warning, for example a disconnected or removed sensor that constantly raises a code. The real cause of a fault must be diagnosed first.
A code list is required
List the codes (e.g. P-codes) in the order notes. We do not process codes belonging to safety systems (brakes, airbag, steering).
How does it work?
- Select your vehicle and ECU, upload the original file.
- Our engineers prepare the file; it passes two-stage quality control.
- Download the file from your panel and request a revision if needed.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it fix the fault?
- No. It only turns off reporting of the code. A genuine fault must be repaired mechanically.
- Which codes cannot be deleted?
- We do not process codes for safety-related systems.
